This will be a very short post... today it's difficult to see the screen through the tears.
Freedom... he was finally set free.
No images of where we come from today....
Nothing about Secondlife today...
I guess if I could pray for anything, it's that those responsible not get the death penalty.
You will have to trust me on this...
Those that did this will never be able to walk the yard, they will remain in "protective custody"... their own private 'dog cage' as long as they live.
I wish them a very long life.

ReplyDeletethis is what is difficult to explain to people who have not experienced severe child abuse.
I used to get very upset and angry about it (not being understood) but now I am not - I am glad they have no reference to understand it.
What a heartbreaking story.
ReplyDeleteOver here in the UK when a child is brutalised then murdered by those who are supposed to care for them (Victoria Climbie, Peter Connelly, Ryan Lovell Hancox immediately come to mind) and Social Services are discovered to have failed them, the authorities churn out that same tired old cliche, which I'll bet you'll hear in the case of Christian...
"Lessons will be learned"
and they never are. As Adults, We all have a part to play in the protection of children, but the authorities consistently fail to uphold their part. It has to change.
